I started my career shooting editorial fashion and travel features for the glossy pages of Indian publications. Somewhere along the way that early addiction gave way to a greater one : creating coffee table books. The first book I conceptualised was an ode to Indian Cinema, Bollywood. Lights Camera Masala (India Book House), allowed me not only to capture some of Indian Cinema's reigning talents but also to creatively tell the story of cinema behind the glitz and glamour. Lights Camera Masala, won the World Gold Award for Book Design at the New York Festivals in July 2007. The next project was as visual consultant and curator for Bollywood Posters (India Book House, 2008). A previous work, Around the World in 80 Plates (India Book House, 2006) won the World Gourmand Award for best food photography. I was part of the core team that designed and produced the coffee table books for the first two seasons of the Indian Premier League T20 (BCCI). The most recent book project was photography and design for Hyatt Chef's Table featuring the signature dishes and favourites across the Hyatt Group of Hotels in India.
